Our teams are structured to ensure that client expectations are met while incorporating the vision and practicality of each project.

Role Description

This role is for a skilled Design Architect based at our Woodstock, Cape Town studio. You will work with a talented and visionary design team to interpret our client’s needs and produce world-class concepts. As an expert in architecture, you will create, refine, and present concepts that prioritize buildability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and develop architectural designs for various projects
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements
  • Produce detailed drawings and specifications
  • Provide guidance and quality-control support to junior and/or implementation peers.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and technical skills.
  • Ability to function in a team, at pace.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Qualifying Criteria

  • Master’s degree in Architecture
  • A minimum of 6+ years with solid, evidential, experience in taking a project through to completion (all Workstages)
  • Proficiency in ArchiCAD preferred, but not a deal breaker (you would need to be willing to learn)
  • Strong understanding of all the architectural Workstages (must have seen projects through to completion)
  • SACAP Professional registration

Fine Print

  • This is a Permanent Contract opportunity based in our Woodstock, Cape Town studio.
  • The remuneration package, which includes group life cover will be commensurate with experience.
  • Candidates should be eligible to work in South Africa and be able to attend the office.
