Role Description
Craft of Architecture (COA) is recruiting for two senior roles within our Durban studio. Successful incumbents will have a minimum of 7 years’ experience with solid, evidential, knowledge in taking a project through to completion (all work stages).
The ability and willingness to mentor team members and to anticipate challenges, processes, and operational constraints would benefit you. Experience and interest in managing your project tasks (micro level) while overseeing high-level project outcomes (macro level) is essential for this role.

Experience within the BIM (Building Information Modelling) space and a commitment to the delivery of projects on time and within budget are a fundamental expectation of the successful applicant.
Qualifying Criteria:
Requirements:
- Professional registration with SACAP is desirable but not a mandatory requirement.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in architectural practice.
- Strong design, technical, and project management skills.
- Experience in commercial, retail, residential, and hospitality projects advantageous.
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD would be advantageous but is not essential
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to lead project teams and liaise with clients and consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects from concept through to completion.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary consultant teams.
- Manage client relationships and project deliverables.
- Oversee design development, documentation, and construction administration.
- Mentor and support junior staff members.
