Sun House is a Private Home Collection project done in collaboration with Mobius. The client’s brief was focused on spatial restoration of the existing home and bringing back the original arrangement thereof. The house was initially envisioned with a central circulation spine flanked by two wings, one private and one public. The private wing was primarily of masonry construction with carefully positioned openings that allowed for the views of Table Mountain and privacy to the bedrooms. The public - entertainment wing has a steel frame construction with a fully glazed facade overlooking a green park with the city bowl and harbour as a backdrop.
